Hydrogen and Fuel Cells

The Fleet Test and Evaluation (FT&E) team supports the U.S. Department of Energy's Hydrogen, Fuel Cells and Infrastructure Technologies Program. This program integrates activities in hydrogen production, storage, and delivery with transportation and stationary fuel cell activities. The ultimate goal is a future in which hydrogen energy and fuel cell power are clean, abundant, reliable, and affordable and are an integral part of all sectors of the economy in all regions of the United States.

The FT&E team supports the Hydrogen, Fuel Cells and Infrastructure Technologies Program by evaluating hydrogen fuel cell bus fleets. For more information about these activities, visit Hydrogen Fuel Cell Bus Evaluation for California Transit Agencies. The FT&E team also participates in the California Fuel Cell Partnership and supports the International Partnership for the Hydrogen Economy.
