Results of the 18th NREL Industry Growth Forum
The 18th NREL Industry Growth Forum was held on November 7-9, 2005 in San Francisco, California. This event united emerging clean energy technology companies from across the country with presentations to promote and enhance the success of new ventures, emerging businesses, and the growth of entrepreneurship in the clean energy sector.

Awards were presented for the 2005 Clean Energy Entrepreneur of the Year Award as well as two Outstanding Presentation awards. NREL congratulates the following 18th Industry Growth Forum winners!
- The 2005 Clean Energy Entrepreneur of the Year Award with an award of $15,000 cash and services was presented to H2Go - SolFocus. A developer of solar concentrators, SolFocus aims to provide solar power solutions competitive with classic energy.
- The two Outstanding Presentations with cash prizes of $3,000 were awarded to Renewable Choice Energy and Prometheus Energy. (from left) Renewable Choice Energy is a green tag broker that emphasizes wind power. Prometheus Energy is an alternative-fuel company focusing on the production, sale, and distribution of liquid natural gas.
