Your Ideas

As part of NREL's efforts to make the Laboratory as sustainable as possible, we continue to monitor all aspects of our operations—but we need your help to keep things in check! Because staff members and site visitors are the "eyes and ears" of the Lab, you often run across areas where we could improve our performance regarding the Sustainable NREL initiative.

Here are just a few of the ideas we have already received in the areas of campus, water, environmental management, energy use, transportation, materials, and outreach.
