NREL Program Empowers Leaders to Implement Solar
November 12, 2010
This fall, there are 19 new "Energy Execs" ready to pursue renewable energy projects at their businesses, governments, and other organizations. The newly trained leaders are graduates of the 2010 Executive Energy Leadership program at the U.S. Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory.
Although they get broad exposure to many renewable energy technologies, many executives are interested in solar solutions. Read how the new Energy Execs are planning to:
- Help Pueblo County be the “Solar Capital” of Colorado
- Bring solar to San Diego's International Airport
- Develop business modeling for solar-to-hydrogen energy storage
- Use concentrating solar power and wind on dairy farms.
