Robert S. Nelson has extensive experience working in academic and biopharmaceutical laboratories, developing analytical methods and processes for the production of recombinant proteins. His current work is focused on the biological conversion of lignocellulose to advanced biofuels and other bioproducts. He enjoys finding novel applications of biotechnology to solve problems.
