Matthew Page received his bachelor's degree in engineering physics from the Colorado School of Mines in 1998, and a master's degree in metallurgical materials engineering with emphasis on microelectronic materials from CSM in 1999. The work for both his degrees largely revolved around the work he did at NREL under Ted Ciszek, Dr. Tihu Wang, and Dr. Simon Tsuo. He joined NREL as a full-time employee in 1999, working on silicon crystal growth, solar cell devices, including both heterojunction and diffused junction development. Page's research interests include silicon solar cell design, fabrication, and characterization; research equipment optimization, design, and fabrication; Czochralski silicon crystal growth; silicon feedstock evaluation; and laboratory design and safety.
