  • Physics, deposition and characterization of CdTe/CdS, and CuIn(1-x)GaxSe2 based thin-films solar cell devices e.g. CuIn(1-x)GaxSe2/CdS, CuIn(1-x)GaxSe2/ZnO, and CuIn(1-x)GaxSe2/ZnMgO.
  • Morphology and microstructure of photovoltaic materials and devices using analytical microscopy
  • Design and fabrication of growth and characterization research tools
