NREL offers free workshops at National Western Stock Show

Renewable Energy Workshops The U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) is offering consumer workshops on solar, wind and biomass energy for farms and ranches during the 101st National Western Stock Show in Denver.  Experts from NREL will discuss the practicalities of the available options.  The workshops feature hands-on displays of clean, renewable energy systems, which can provide power for irrigation, stock watering, electric fences and other practical uses. Admission to the workshops is free; reservations are not required.

 

When:             Saturday, Jan. 19, 10 a.m.

                         Saturday, Jan. 19, 2 p.m.

                         Sunday, Jan. 27, 10 a.m.

 

Where:            Beef Palace Auction Arena, in the basement of the Hall of Education.
