The Global New Energy Summit has added the word "Manufacturing" to its name this year to highlight an additional emphasis on job creation and the need to restore American competitiveness -- particularly related to manufacturing -- as the best path for long term sustainable job growth in the U.S. Around 500 of the most influential names in energy from across industry, finance, government and science are expected to participate, creating a highly interactive agenda.
