1BMSUpwelling LI-19005/13/202211:44:0005/13/202212:25:00The LICOR Quantum sensor was facing toward the sun during this time so that it could be calibrated. Data should not be used during this time.
2BMSUpwelling LI-19005/12/202110:20:0005/12/202112:13:00The relay multiplexer on the SRRL BMS radiometer tower had a problem (old age/possible moisture) that caused low voltage measurements on the main CR3000 wiring panel to read bogus, this includes all 40-South measurements and all upwelling shortwave measurements (except upwelling CMP11).

6BMSUpwelling LI-19004/27/201500:00:0012/31/202323:59:00This Data Quality Statement (DQS) is in regard to the Albedo Quantum Calculation, be sure to check DQS in regard to both Upwelling LI-190 and Global LI-190 since both are used to calculate Albedo Quantum and the Global LI-190 has had numerous issues. As of 3/29/2024 at 10:18 MST the albedo calculation was updated to use Global PQS1 instead to resolve this issue. Historical data since 1/1/2024 was corrected on 3/31/2024 to use the Global PQS1.
7BMSQ20558Upwelling LI-19003/22/200615:00:0003/28/200614:32:00The LICOR Quantum sensor is reading very low (and negative when irradiance levels are low enough, near sunrise/set). Sensor was replaced with S/N Q20555.
