1BMSSnow Depth12/06/201600:00:0001/13/201716:00:00The SRRL BMS ultrasonic sensor (for snow depth) is no longer operational because the transducer failed. As required by the maintenance schedule (replace every 3 years), the transducer (part no 19486) was replaced on 1/13/2017.
2BMSSnow Depth09/20/201108:00:0011/04/201113:00:00The SRRL BMS ultrasonic quality indicator (for snow depth) was indicating high measurement uncertainty for for the past few days, sometimes resulting in missing snow depth values. As required by the maintenance schedule (replace every 3 years), the transducer (part no 19486) was replaced on 11/8/2011 at 11:43 MST, which will hopefully correct the problem. The replacement kit also included new desiccant.
3BMSSnow Depth06/28/201112:36:0007/05/201112:37:00Construction workers piled dirt under the SRRL BMS snow depth sensor on June 28 at 12:36 MST, which is causing bogus snow depth readings of up to 8 inches. Dirt was removed on July 5 at 12:37 MST. Snow depth data was later repaired on July 6 by resetting the values to zero.
