BMSDirect TUVR09/29/202312:40:0009/29/202313:55:00Due to an NREL-wide power outage caused by Xcel Energy, The following BMS instruments were not pointing at the sun during this time: Direct CHP-1, sNIP, CUVA2, CUVB2, TUVR; and the following instruments were un-shaded: Diffuse 8-48, CM22-2, PIR.
BMSDirect TUVR08/22/202313:24:0008/22/202315:46:00Due to BMS south sci-tec failure, The following BMS instruments were not pointing at the sun during this time: Direct CHP-1, sNIP, MS-57, CUVA2, CUVB2, TUVR; and the following instruments were un-shaded: Diffuse 8-48, CM22-2, PIR. However automatic substitution was enabled for the CHP1-1, sNIP, 8-48, and CM22-2.
BMSDirect TUVR08/21/202205:21:0008/21/202211:15:00Due to BMS south sci-tec failure, The following BMS instruments were not pointing at the sun during this time: Direct CHP-1, sNIP, CUVA2, CUVB2, TUVR; and the following instruments were un-shaded: Diffuse 8-48, CM22-2, PIR. Since the middle sci-tec was down (due to collision with south scitec); data was corrected on 9/14/2022 by subsituting Diffuse 8-48 and CM22-2 with RSR Diffuse, then recalating Direct CHP1-1 and sNIP using BMS Global CMP22 and RSR Diffuse.
BMSDirect TUVR08/20/202211:56:0008/20/202223:59:00Due to BMS south sci-tec failure, The following BMS instruments were not pointing at the sun during this time: Direct CHP-1, sNIP, CUVA2, CUVB2, TUVR; and the following instruments were un-shaded: Diffuse 8-48, CM22-2, PIR. However automatic substitution was enabled for the CHP1-1, 8-48, and CM22-2.
BMSDirect TUVR06/22/202216:53:0006/23/202207:17:00Due to BMS south sci-tec failure, The following BMS instruments were not pointing at the sun during this time: Direct CHP-1, sNIP, CUVA2, CUVB2, TUVR; and the following instruments were un-shaded: Diffuse 8-48, CM22-2, PIR. However automatic data substitution was enable for the CHP1-1, 8-48, and CM22-2.
BMSDirect TUVR07/21/201913:00:0007/26/201912:00:00The direct normal UV has moisture inside the direct normal tube that is affecting measurements. Until it can be dismantled and dried it will read much lower than it should.
BMSDirect TUVR03/24/201600:00:0003/24/201610:10:00There was an alignment problem on one side of the sci-tec tracker from sunrise to 10:10 MST that caused the Direct TUVR to read low.
BMSDirect TUVR12/24/201411:20:0012/27/201414:45:00On 24 Dec, contractors bumped into the side of the Sci-Tec tracker mount which sent the Direct CH1, Direct TUVR, and Direct CUVB2 slightly out of alignment. Data is low and saw tooth shaped during this time due to misalignment.
BMSDirect TUVR12/23/201411:50:0012/23/201413:20:00Solder joint at outdoor bendix connector broke. Data is bogus during this time.
BMSDirect TUVR12/28/201311:55:0012/28/201315:59:00Due to a scheduled NREL power outage, to upgrade campus electrical infrastructure, The following BMS instruments were not pointing at the sun during this time: Direct CH1, NIP #2, CUVA2, CUVB2, TUVR; and the following instruments were un-shaded: Diffuse 8-48, PSP, PIR. The South Sci-Tec tracker for these instruments are protected by UPS, however the battery depleted at 11:55 MST (the power outage started at 6:46 MST)
BMSDirect TUVR12/21/201310:30:0012/21/201316:22:00Due to a scheduled NREL power outage, to upgrade campus electrical infrastructure, The following BMS instruments were not pointing at the sun during this time: Direct CH1, NIP #2, CUVA2, CUVB2, TUVR; and the following instruments were un-shaded: Diffuse 8-48, PSP, PIR. The South Sci-Tec tracker for these instruments are protected by UPS, however the battery depleted at 10:30 MST (the power outage started at 7:00 MST)
BMSDirect TUVR03/15/200400:00:0012/31/200523:59:00The Direct TUVR is experiencing intermittent signal problems, some days its good others its bad. Instrument was permanently removed from service sometime after 6/30/06, however data after 12/31/05 is not available (or should be ignored).
BMSDirect TUVR12/27/200300:00:0003/10/200410:11:00The Direct TUVR is experiencing intermitten signal problems, some days its good others its bad. On 3-10-2004, the TUVR sensor was shorted from 9:42 to 10:10 MST in an effort to reset the detector.
BMSDirect TUVR08/12/200305:00:0009/26/200318:00:00The Direct TUVR is experiencing intermitten signal problems, some days its good others its bad.
BMSDirect TUVR03/13/200200:00:0006/07/200208:08:00The Direct UV is experiencing intermitten signal problems, some days its good others its bad. The instrument was factory serviced and the problem has been corrected.
BMSDirect TUVR12/02/200110:00:0002/19/200215:01:00The Direct UV is experiencing intermitten signal problems, some days its good others its bad. On 2-19-2002, the TUVR sensor was shorted from 13:00 to 15:00 in an effort to reset the detector. This seemed to solve the problem.
BMSDirect TUVR06/27/200109:46:0008/08/200110:10:00The direct normal UV was removed from service due to moisture leak. A new fused silica glass window and mount has been fitted by the machine shop to avoid future moisture leaks.
