BMSDirect CUVA207/12/201122:57:0007/13/201107:40:00Due to a tripped GFCI outlet at SRRL the following instruments were without power during this time: TWC & POM-01 Photometers, Direct CUVA2 & CUVB2, and the PGS100. The readings are either zero or bogus and should not be used. GFCI was tripped due to Eppley venitlators which were water logged by thunderstorm.
BMSDirect CUVA206/14/201113:01:0006/14/201113:14:00Due to a planned power outage for SRRL construction activities, the following BMS instruments were down: TSP-1, TSP-700, UVSAT, UVSBT, CUVA1, CUVA2, CUVB1, CUVB2, UVB-1, 501A, MS210W, SPN1, TSI-880, PGS-100, POM-01, EFM-100.
BMSDirect CUVA205/25/201105:19:0005/26/201112:16:00Due to a planned power outage for SRRL construction activities, the following BMS instruments were down: TSP-1, TSP-700, UVSAT, UVSBT, CUVA1, CUVA2, CUVB1, CUVB2, UVB-1, 501A, MS210W, SPN1, TSI-880, PGS-100, POM-01, EFM-100.
BMSDirect CUVA205/17/201114:20:0005/17/201114:48:00Due to a planned power outage for SRRL construction activities, the following BMS instruments were down: TSP-1, TSP-700, UVSAT, UVSBT, CUVA1, CUVA2, CUVB1, CUVB2, UVB-1, 501A, MS210W, SPN1, TSI-880, PGS-100, POM-01, EFM-100.
BMSDirect CUVA205/07/201105:55:0005/09/201107:58:00There was a planned power outage for SRRL construction activities that started at 5:18 MST. Unfortunately, the backup generator provided to SRRL was providing bad power to the UPS powering the Sci-Tec trackers, therefore the UPS failed at 5:55 MST. Unfortunately, when normal AC power was restored at 11:45 MST, the Sci-Tec trackers had lost all their configuration due to UPS cycling on and off during the outage, therefore were not tracking. The tracker settings were restored on May 9 at 7:58 MST. The following BMS instruments were not pointing at the sun during this time: Direct CH1, NIP #2, NIP #1, LI-201, NIP RG780, CUVA2, CUVB2, TWC; and the following instruments were un-shaded: Diffuse 8-48, PSP, CM22, CUV4, PIR, CG4
BMSDirect CUVA205/07/201105:18:0005/07/201111:45:00Due to a planned power outage for SRRL construction activities, the following BMS instruments were down: TSP-1, TSP-700, UVSAT, UVSBT, CUVA1, CUVA2, CUVB1, CUVB2, UVB-1, 501A, MS210W, SPN1, TSI-880, PGS-100, POM-01, EFM-100.
BMSDirect CUVA204/15/201106:11:0004/15/201106:50:00Due to a planned power outage for SRRL construction activities, the following BMS instruments were down: TSP-1, TSP-700, UVSAT, UVSBT, CUVA1, CUVA2, CUVB1, CUVB2, UVB-1, 501A, MS210W, SPN1, TSI-880, PGS-100, POM-01, EFM-100.
BMSDirect CUVA207/04/201018:10:0007/06/201007:30:00Due to several tripped GFCI outlets at SRRL the following instruments were without power from July 4 @ 18:10 to July 6 @ 7:30 MST: Global CUVA1, CUVB1, MS210W, 501A and Direct CUVA2, CUVB2, PGS100. The readings are either zero or bogus and should not be used.
BMS961003Direct CUVA206/11/201014:38:0006/14/201008:01:00The Kipp & Zonen Direct CUVA2 and CUVB2 were without power during this time, most likely due to tripped GFI caused by hail storm. Measured signal is bogus.
BMSDirect CUVA205/27/201018:00:0005/28/201012:15:00Due to improper mounting of the replacement CH1 s/n 080033 the Sci-tec tracker was not tracking properly due to collision with the CH1 against tracker. The following BMS instruments were not pointing at the sun: Direct CH1, NIP2, CUVA2, & CUVB2 and the following instruments were unshaded: 8-48, PSP, PIR.
BMSDirect CUVA212/09/200910:52:0012/09/200914:22:00Due to a power outage (and bad power) at NREL, the following BMS instruments were down: TSP-1, TSP-700, UVSAT, UVSBT, CUVA1, CUVA2, CUVB1, CUVB2, UVB-1, 501A, MS210, SPN1, Snow Depth, TSI-880, POM-01.
BMSDirect CUVA211/15/200807:45:0011/15/200814:29:00Due to a planned power outage at SRRL, the following BMS instruments were down: TSP-1, TSP-700, UVSAT, UVSBT, CUVA1, CUVA2, CUVB1, CUVB2, UVB-1, 501A, MS210, SPN1, Snow Depth, TSI-880, SkyCam.
BMS961003Direct CUVA206/28/200613:04:0007/17/200611:06:00The Kipp & Zonen Direct UVA was mistakenly disconnected at the Junction Box. Measured signal is bogus.
BMS961003Direct CUVA201/05/200611:26:0006/28/200613:04:00The Kipp & Zonen Direct UVA has been removed from service for troubleshooting low unstable output. Unit was sent back to the factory for repair and returned to service on June 28. The unit still needs calibration (assuming that it's functioning correctly).
BMS961003Direct CUVA212/13/200513:31:0001/05/200611:25:00The Kipp & Zonen Direct UVA was repaired at the factory and returned to service. However, there is still a problem with the instrument. It is reading 100 times low. Factory will get back to us on whether this is "normal" after such a repair. New cal factor of -8.617 W/m^2/mV (102.78 times larger based on comparison with Direct TUVR on 12/14/2005) was entered into logger on 12/29/2005, however unit is still reading about 30-40% low, unit may be unstable. No word from factory.
BMS961003Direct CUVA205/22/200508:24:0012/13/200513:30:00The Kipp & Zonen Direct UVA instrument has failed. The temperature controller works fine (it was verified with the CUVB2 instrument). The sensor output would not go over 0.1 W/m^2. Instrument will be returned to factory and channel was shorted on June 6 @ 08:34 MST to read zero.
