The following data and resources include geothermal resource maps, models and tools, and photos used and produced by NREL. These resources are available for geothermal researchers and others interested in the viability and development of geothermal energy.

Resource Maps

NREL develops resource and characterization maps to help industry, policymakers, and researchers evaluate the number, location, and possibilities for geothermal resources throughout the United States.
