Mo Nelson is a senior administrative assistant in the Computational Science Center, supporting Center Director Steve Hammond, center staff, and Energy Sciences Research Fellow John Turner. She joined NREL in 2007 after a short stint supporting Dr. Josef Michl and his research group in the chemistry department at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Prior to that, she spent 20 years working from home for the National Council of Supervisors of Mathematics, establishing its office and providing member services, conference registration services, and support for its board of directors. This followed 2.5 years as a high school mathematics teacher in Jefferson County Public Schools in Colorado.
