Rebecca Callahan received a B.A. in Chemistry from Hendrix College in 2009, where she worked under the supervision of Dr. Tom Goodwin developing methodologies for green laboratory experiments for the undergraduate organic teaching lab. Rebecca is currently pursuing graduate studies in Materials Chemistry at the University of Colorado – Boulder. Her research, jointly advised by Prof. David Walba and Garry Rumbles, is primarily focused on studying photo-induced charge transfer in unique liquid crystal phases.
