Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt of Sweden visits NREL. He toured the Alternative Fuels User Facility (AFUF) to learn about NREL's work in cellulosic ethanol research, then visited with solar research staff in the Science & Technology Facility (S&TF). He was also briefed on plug-in hybrid (PHEV) vehicles and battery research, wind energy and buildings technologies. He said his visit to NREL showed him that Americans are doing something about global energy and climate issues.
