Colorado Renewable Energy Collaboratory Agreement signed
Caption
NREL Director Dan Arvizu joined leaders of three local universities in signing the Colorado Renewable Energy Collaboratory Agreement at the Colorado State Capitol on Feb. 21, 2007, blazing a new trail to our nation's energy future. The research collaboration among NREL, the Colorado School of Mines (CSM), Colorado State University (CSU), and the University of Colorado (CU), will emphasize the development of new technologies and the advancement of existing technologies for rapid transfer to private industry for commercial development. The Collaboratory is a direct off-shoot of the Renewable Energy Summit Sen. Ken Salazar hosted in 2006 and a follow-up planning session he hosted with CU, CSU, CSM and NREL.
