Call for PapersThe oral presentations at the workshop consist primarily of invited review papers. Other detailed papers should be submitted and presented as posters in two extending evening sessions complete with refreshments. The authors can decide on the format and length of the papers (not to exceed 8 pages). Due to the informal nature of the workshop, we would like to encourage that you take this opportunity to include unfinished experiments, difficult problems, and speculations. These papers will not be considered publications and this is a good opportunity to foster detailed discussions on your work. The workshop proceedings for 2009 will be a bit different than previous years. These proceedings will only be available in hard copy to attendees. We will compile the papers. Therefore we would like the papers in the Word .doc format. Please submit your papers (through the registration page) prior to 15 July, or e-mail the papers to Margaret@sintonconsulting.com. GS will have a significantly lower registration fee to encourage and subsidize their participation. Contributions will be accepted to cover this cost. Companies should see this as a great opportunity to be acknowledged at the meeting and in the program. The workshop is a fantastic place to see the graduate student's technical contributions. For this reason, all graduate students are encouraged to submit a paper for poster presentation. |
