Primary Research Interests

Chemistry-based solar photoconversion processes.

  • Excitonic species in conjugated polymers and dendrimers, colloidal quantum dots, and single-walled carbon nanotubes
  • Molecular photochemistry
  • Photoinduced electron transfer of excitons in conjugated polymers at nanostructured interfaces
  • Fundamental photophysics in bulk heterojunction, excitonic solar cells
  • Spectroscopy of single-walled carbon nanotubes
  • Flash photolysis, transient microwave conductivity
  • Time-resolved and steady-state photoluminescence spectroscopy.
  • Organic Photovoltaic Solar cells.
