Jianbo Gao - Postdoc
Jianbo Gao received an M.Sc. from Jilin University, China, in 2000. He received a second M.Sc. and a Ph.D. from the Department of Physics at the University of Alberta, Canada, in 2009, with Prof. Frank A. Hegamnn as his thesis supervisor. His Ph.D. project is an investigatation of charge-carrier photogeneration and transport mechanisms in organic semiconductor thin films using sub-nanosecond transient and steady-state photoconductivity techniques.
Dr. Gao joined the Chemical and Nanoscale Sciences Group at NREL in August 2009. His research project at NREL involves developing nanocrystalline solar cells with the potential to exhibit high efficiency photoconversion.
