Note:
1) Plants in the database may be comprised of multiple Units.
2) Biomass technology in REPiS is associated with the following fuels: Agricultural
Residues, Timber Residues, BioGas, Landfill Gas, Energy Crops, and Municipal Solid Waste. To exclude
capacity or number of plants having the fuel Municipal Solid Waste and/or Landfill Gas,
most of the reports break out the data by Fuel as well as Technology, so that these
numbers can be subtracted.
3) Operating Plants include: Demonstration Projects, Pilot Projects,
Field Trials, Testing, and fully Operational Plants.
